I didn’t hear a SINGLE SOUL complain about the vast majority of Ukrainians who were coming here from the perfectly safe country of POLAND. Poland is as perfectly safe a country as say,eh🤔……FRANCE but not a peep did I hear against them given red carpet treatment & the Ukraine situation had absolutely zero connection with the UK, unlike the Afghanistan,Iraqi & Syrian people who literally allied with us on the battlefield & they have to risk their lives in order just to make it here ? You realise that the small boats don’t account for the hundreds of thousands of immigrants arriving here legally with work & student visas right ? The small boats only add up to tens of thousands of mostly genuine refugees to the UK every year, which is a tiny number compared to how many refugees other countries around the World take in. The immigration system & the asylum system are 2 very different things & the high number of immigrants arriving here legally on VISAS (around 700,000 last year) have absolutely zero to do with small boats coming across the channel. They are not immigrants, they are asylum seekers & they account for a tiny proportion of people arriving here (tens of thousands annually). An irrelevant number. It’s the age old number 1 Tory distraction tactic. When Torys are doing a pitiful job in government, they always use the decades old refugee distraction tactic. How are people still failing for it is my question ?

@williamwhitehouse8214 Ok, so if you were desperate enough you would disregard all the countries you would genuinely like to start a new life in, in favour of choosing to try & move to a country that you personally hate everything about, such as North Korea (unless I’m wrong in assuming that you would probably despise a life in North Korea) as long as you’re given a bare minimum of funds to survive on & granted a B&B room for months, before you can even start working to try & improve your life, in a country you hate everything about ? That would be seriously bizarre behaviour & I think you would have been better to admit your OG comment on this thread was just absolute nonsense but hey, it’s your life. Enjoy your life in North Korea rather than Greece or Turkey & so on, if you’re ever “desperate” enough.

@nutri-gains6535 You don’t know the law regarding asylum do you ? It’s not illegal to arrive here seeking asylum. That action is NOT ILLEGAL!! Stop believing the hype. Any British government trying to deny a person the right to claim asylum in the UK,regardless of how they came to the UK would be acting ILLEGALLY however. A person cannot be classed as being here illegally until their individual asylum claim has been denied. Then & only then would that person be in this country illegally. It’s not that complicated.

Is North Korea on your wish list of countries to migrate to is it ? As long as you got the equivalent of around £60 a week & granted a stay in a tiny B&B room, while having to wait months for your claim to be processed & approved, before you could start working in order to try & build a new life for yourself in North Korea ? @williamrobson8337 You realise migration is a net plus to the UK economy yeah ? Just curious if you know this little thing we call a FACT ? Obviously your psychic powers has not helped you realise that immigration does actually have a very positive effect on the country. Just for one example, the NHS would literally collapse over night without it. Not to mention a vast amount of people who work in the care sector would also be leaving a huge employment gap in that crucial sector. Do you actually think about issues before taking a stance on them ?
