Thank all that’s good that nobody was killed in this one, unlike the Grenfell tragedy. The government needs too invest in making these type of housing blocks far safer than they are currently because it’s only a matter of time before something like this happens again & the people might not be so lucky the next time.

@jasereed5258 Wow, your sort don’t miss a chance to try & connect every single thing into an issue regarding asylum seekers eh. Talk about an obsession & a seriously problematic obsession at that. As for these “Hotels” you’re referring too. What hotels exactly ? You do realise that once a building that used to be a “hotel” is converted into a hostel, used for asylum seeker accommodation, it then no longer becomes a “hotel”. Hotels have gyms, bars, restaurants with a wide selection of foods & drinks on their menus & so on. Asylum Seeker accommodation/hostels, don’t have anything that even remotely comes close to having any of those luxuries. Stop believing everything you read in the Daily Mail or what people without a clue spread on social media. Trust me you’d be doing yourself & this countries political climate a huge favour. STOP BELIEVING THE HYPE!!!

@jasereed5258 Buildings that used to be “hotels”, but are now hostels accommodating asylum seekers, are no longer “hotels”. “Hotels” have bars, restaurants with menus that cater to the paying customers tastes, access to gyms & pools in some cases & so on. Asylum seeker Hostel accommodation on the other hand have absolutely NONE of these luxuries. Those hostels don’t have anything remotely close to those sorts of luxuries. Please stop believing everything you read in the British tabloid press or what you hear on some of these British far right media outlets because it’s complete nonsense.
