You know every single claim is on an individual basis right? Some of the peoples forced to cross on boats due to the lack of ANY LEGAL ROUTES for asylum into the UK are our allies on the battlefield of Afghanistan & Iraqi.People who risked the life’s of their entire families in order to fight against the Taliban & Saddam Hussain regime only a few years back & your telling them there’s no refuge here for them? Tell me a single thing you’ve done that was worth more than what they risked on the battlefield,side by side with & under the flag of the Union Jack.What have you done for this country that comes even close to that? Are you getting rid & stopping any Ukrainian from coming here by whatever means,since we’ve literally got ZERO to do what’s going on in their land,unlike our Afghanistan & Iraqi brothers & sisters,who are literally risking their life’s to see if we’ll keep our LITERAL “promise” of safe haven if the Taliban were to return to power,which they did? I’ll wait……

@simondavids9438 Our Afghanistan & Iraqi ALLIES did fight shoulder to shoulder with us against the Taliban,at the risk to not just themselves but their entire families life’s & that’s the point. It was us that turned traitor & left them to the Taliban just a few of years ago.

@pwdb1968 I said our Afghanistan “allies”.They literally fought the Taliban with us on the battlefield,so I can guarantee those Afghan “allies” are not Taliban because unfortunately most of them are probably dead,at the hands of the Taliban.All thanks to us deserting them,after literally “promising” that if they joined us,we would never leave them to deal with the vengeance of a Taliban regime back in power.We broke this promise only a few years back for Christ sake.🤔…🤷‍♂️….🤦‍♂️

Why Israel? Did you mean legal routes for the displaced Palestinians who have been forced into the largest outside refugee camps on the planet,due to an ILLEGAL OCCUPATION by Israel? Since it was us/the UK who chose to give part of Palestine to peoples from Europe it’s the least we could do to try & right that wrong,no?

@timmarsh2882 It’s not illegal to seek asylum in any UN member state of which we are one.On the contrary,it’s ILLEGAL for our government to deny any claim of asylum from anyone who makes it to our land by whatever means necessary. This is a FACT & is exactly why the Rwanda policy is stuck in legal limbo.Facts don’t care about your feelings or emotions on this issue. DEAL WITH IT!

What situation? Provide LEGAL ROUTES into the UK from parts of the World like we do for Ukrainians & watch the dinghy “situation” disappear over night but none of the politicians are raising this obvious solution.Hence dinghies in the channel will continue….Unless your seen as “special humans”,such as Ukrainians.Melanin deficient peoples need only apply for asylum into modern day UK so it would seem.Nothing “racist” about it though….No nothing at all.🤔🤷‍♂️……🤦‍♂️

@richarddavies2160 I see & interact with more than a few successful asylum seeker claimants/now successful refugees in my everyday life & I’ve nvr had a problem with a single one of them in my 40+ years,apart from a couple of neo Nazi Polish & Ukrainian guys in the last couple of years that is. If our politicians are really serious about stopping the highly dangerous dinghies across the channel,should we not be taking the common sense approach of setting up LEGAL ROUTES like we did for Ukrainians,for our Afghanistan & Iraqi allies (just for 2 examples of problematic places due too OUR countries actions). I mean our Afghanistan & Iraqi brothers & sisters literally fought shoulder to shoulder with us against the Taliban & Saddam regime,under & side by side the Union Jack,at risk to not only their own life but the lifes of their entire families. No,I would never be a sheep volunteering myself to the slaughter for any corrupt corporate,ruling class elites financial benefit but the FACT is I belong to a union (not for much longer btw) of countries known as the U.K,whose military along with the U.S invaded Afghanistan & Iraqi in the early 2000s,which left between 500.000 & 1.000.000 non combatant,innocent civilians dead (according to a U.N inquiry into the matter) but nearly as bad,we cut & ran in cowardice,leaving hundreds of thousands (to say the very least) of the Afghanistan masses,who sided with us against the Taliban on the battlefield behind,to reap the revenge of a Talibans return to power. Do our war allies who fought shoulder to shoulder with us not deserve at the VERY LEAST,the same treatment as random Ukrainians got served to them on a platter,with zero questions or protests! I wonder why Ukrainians got a red carpet treatment,when we had ZERO to do with the Ukrainians current plight,the same can’t be said about the plight of our brothers & sisters in Afghanistan and Iraq who we’ve deserted like cowardly traitors. Not even providing decent LEGAL ROUTES to seek asylum in the UK,hence dinghies in the Channel. Provide LEGAL ROUTES & the dinghies in the Channel issue would be largely solved over night. This is known as a FACT.

Why didn’t EVERY SINGLE Ukrainian stay in Poland if that truly was some “law”(which it’s not) & how could Poland possibly expect to take in every single Ukrainian?
