  2. It's already happening in the US. People are becoming unable to pay their property taxes because they basically quadrupled in some areas in the last years, so they are forced to sell. And of course, the money hungry corporations like BlackRock&Co are out there for grabs, they get the land and either demolish everything and build apartment blocks or build high density housing areas and sell them for astronomical prices.
