Regarding pressing buttons, it seems that some car manufacturers are implementing buttons again in their dashboards instead of touchscreens because they are considered more secure. Buttons offer better feedback, so the driver can keep their eyes on the road, instead of diverting their attention to make sure that whatever they pressed on the screen is the correct thing and it actually got pressed.
