First, let's be clear, it's nobody's business how much you make. Given this, when asked about salary, your ONLY answer should be how much you WANT, but don't give the recruiter that detail. He might be an asshole and press that you tell him what you actually make. Just tell him a number (not a range, he will always try to pull that to the lower limit). To be clear a second time, there is zero consequence of lieing when asnwering this question.
