If you can show solid proof that praying has cured cancer I am willing to accept, but solid proof requires facts and you cannot provide facts. As for the time, time does not matter. People have died for thousands of years from diseases like pneumonia, hepatitis, plagues of all kinds of sorts, infections and related afflictions and so forth. Most of them are rendered almost null today, not because of praying, but because of science and research.  You play the cancer card, but as I said, cancer is but a different cold, and as any disease it will have a cure. It may not be in our lifetime, but that doesn't change the fact that it is possible to be cured. And this concept applies to any disease out there.

  15. A drug is considered a substance that can change the behavior or physical condition of someone, altering it's normal functionality. This is a very "basic" explanation. Alcohol is a drug, consumed in large quantities, it can damage a lot of organs (liver, stomach, brain especially). Calling it a "fermented poison" is a little overreacting, because if you consume it in little quantities, you can benefit from it's properties (I'm not going to do Chem class here, you can Google that if you want)

If we take in account just the numbers, then I can say that heroin is less dangerous than alcohol, because alcohol abuse kills more people / year than heroin overdose.
