@doreybain Well to be correct Oppy had a series of around 100 standard messages to quickly convey various things instead of needing to use raw data. Thses were in binary of course and were a simple two digit number, this made for much shorter transmission s to save power, if the team wanted exact measurements of what was being reported they then requested the same by a return message. These numbers were then associated with a phrase here on earth to explain the meaning. The last two Oppy sent were the codes for "My battery is low" and "It's getting dark". The first is self explanatory and the second was sent any time available light dropped below a certain number of lux (the measure of light). Sent together they ended up being a phrase that brought grown men to tears.
