@Johnny Estrada He's not, high school science encompasses stuff like this in Europe. It's 100% believable.

@engineerisengihere44 They did oil it, check their video.

Blame Hoges and the tourism commission for that one.
2
Holden also exported to China (badged as a Chev Lumina), South Africa and the middle east.

@SP_EH444 91 is actually our lowest octane, the other two are 91 and 98 although Shell make a 100 oct but it's very hard to come by.
2
OK, one year later, where is our turbo axle?
2
@brayannexon4613 Never heard one, have you? They are incredibly loud as several people have said while replying.
2
hell yes!

As a techno tour de force the only coupe that compares to the original 850 series is the SVX, the amount of brand new text crammed into both has to be seen to be believed. Truly beautiful cars as well and both are a joy to drive.

@DingDongDrift AFTER every race. Comprehension is important dude.

They fitted a Transarc Locker (ie: they welded the diff). The main reason they sold was that rego and road tax were a heap cheaper for a three-wheeler, Thatcher also ended that.

That, would be, fecking awesome! Ignoring the F134 Detroit Diesel has been producing forced induction, valve-controlled 2 stokes for over half a century and powered some of the most iconic vehicles in the timeframe. This can be built upon to produce a 2 stroke with the fuel efficiency of a 4 stroke with less weight and complexity

At top speed, a set of tyres on a Chiron lasts 20 to 25 miles. That set costs about 12,000 dollars!
1
Close, but if there is a real hub I think that would be VIN Wiki
1
Don't forget, the one you are testing is 35 years old and still going. It was cheap, dirt cheap and if you just needed something for a 5-mile drive to work it was fine. Also, as you said it really wasn't made for the US market.

This read as a paid advert for Harley. TBH I don't think anything can save HD, they have lost the plot.

06:53 I have watched way, waaay too much MORR. How do I know this? because I live 10s of 1000s of miles away and I recognise that rock. As the owner of an Inter R180 6x6 I can safely say the wrecker is the best off-road vehicle I have ever seen and I want it more than life itself. Oh and yeah, the Laymo is pretty cool. PS: you guys did well for noobs.

This is going to get so many views! It is also remarkably good science that is a century overdue.
1
There's a perfect orange example in LA and a couple of others in various US states but pretty much rare as rocking horse shit even here in OZ.
1
Yes you can. You pre-stage, activate cheetah and then you can creep into stage.
1
Am I the only one who finds Ryan a bit of an ass?
1
I'm a Holden guy but that XB 1/2 finish at Bathurst is the most enduring image of Aussie motorsport by a long shot. You couldn't put an advertising dollar value on that moment.
1
trutracs are good but you can't beat the ARBs if the budget allows for them.
1
@fourthbeegee Yeah, not in very heavy going. I have a 47 series Landcruiser ute, I run an Airlocker in the rear and an LSD front. That combination works quite well and unless I need low range I mostly stay in 2wd and use the locker if needed. LSDs are fine until you start lifting wheels.
1
@fourthbeegee What on earth makes you say that?
1
Hey, you went off-roading in the best state for it (tho I'll admit the Victorian high country has some spectacular trails).
1
The 350 was a Japanese Ferarri, fast and handled like a cat on a hot tin roof. With twin turbos it would be even better.
1
Stock mate, we are talking stock
1
@EURIPODES Actually we don't, it hasn't been big here in 30 years. You can hardly buy it here and I'm not even sure it's made here any longer. Most production is China and the UK.
1
Well, and the fact that no one has a Lishi for everything.
1
Spark plug pumps, door trays and even (working) car ovens are available to this day as are tyre re-groovers because a lot of truck tyres are designed to be re-grooved.
1
That was an expensive trip to Harry's.
1
Ah, the iPhone days when they had to send stuff to Michelle (Fab Rats) to edit because they didn't know how.
1
Yeah, there's a mob in TX that imports Aussie classics, they seem to be popular there.

Round one: When you have 2 products that work equally well and one works with no power, electronics, just a couple of lines and the other relies on cheap Chinese lasers to do its job why on earth would you choose the overly complicated one? Wrong choice. Round two: There are no good car trashcans, slip the handle of a dimestore carry bag over the shift and use that for free. Round three: I rarely recommend a product unequivocally but there is no substitute for RAM holders. Four: The only time a tray should be used is when the vehix=cle is stationary so by default as well as by design the Bamboo try wins hands down. Five: Well;, meah . . .
1
Would I use one every day? With the exception of eye bolts (for which they are as good as it gest) hell now but would I keep on in the car tool roll? Hell yes because one day it may just save your arse and where I drive that could be very important indeed.
1
Isn't he just?
1
It really was, I've talked to TomTom about it and it came very close to ending really badly thru utterly no one's fault.
