  2.  @Cole-Thinks-Things  LOL, no one does 60kph out there, 160 would be closer. You drive to the limit of the road and in dry season those dirt roads can be driven quite quickly indeed. I've worked a cattle station (ranch) that had a 100km drive from the gate the main homestead.

  12. I've copped shit on this video that I'm not going to let pass. I'm an old Africa hand, I flew ass and trash for what some would call a mercenary group for some 20-odd years*. I've been shot at and worshipped (undeservedly) in equal quantities for that time. I know Africa to the extent that I considered Gaddifai a personal friend (if you want to debate that case, it's a different story) If anyone here can pass judgment on what is said here it is me and the few locals in the conversation. Namibia is a paradise next door to a hell hole, it is a wonderful country with some of the most beautiful people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The issue here is that they are being screwed over by Shell and, ultimately, De-Beers who are evil beyond what most of you who have never seen true evil can comprehend. I urge you to do a google search on both of them with the word "Africa" added and read what comes up. Yes, I'm white and I made a lot of money out of the pain of Africa but the company I worked for had ethics. We were mercenaries but we battled for the little guy. Those who know, know. Namibia is a world of wonder, the Skeleton Coast is one of the most amazing places on earth. When you have seen a herd of lions, a herd of elephants and a herd of wildebeests all drinking alongside each other out of a rare freshwater spring in peace maybe then you will understand that even those thrust against each other in the very throes of survival can cooperate when required. The best, most faithful dog I ever had was a wild Nanbian dog because he knew the best thing he could do for him was to be my friend and because like any dog the love of someone who loved him was unrequited. He passed before I could bring him home or I would have spent whatever was needed. Even the dogs are superior in Namibia and those of you belittling the place are unworthy of their company. *If you know, you will know what Last Plane Out was.

  16. De-Beers is evil personified and so is Shell, the country is cursed with the two most destructive forces in Africa. The power that De-Beers wields in Africa is frightening, they are a law unto themselves.

At any rate, the 12 tribes ended up in Iraq and Iran, the last of them can be found in the black Jews living around Babalon (whom I have met, in person). That's if ISIS hasn't wiped them out which unfortunately remains a possibility.

  19. You live in a fascinating country sir, shame you are being screwed over by De-Beers and now Shell. I'm an old Africa hand and those two are the most destructive forces in the entire region, they make the various rebels look harmless. I loved the place, especially the magnificent desolation of the coastal areas, I'd to return one day.
