  2. Good chance it would, yes That would need to be addressed Not crazy thick but it would need some shielding I would think The shock wave of hitting the atmospheric "wall" at Breakthru would cause some interesting pressure waves yes.

  4. The more you think about this clusterfuck the worse it sounds. It is however an excellent way to get what I'm sure are very high paying jobs for him and a few mates for a couple of years until the money runs out.

  5.  @c1h2r3i4s56987  I'm not so sure about that. Anything you hit has the chance of deflecting the projectile. You may be right, it's a bit of my field so it's pretty much conjecture on my part but I suspect that while not insurmountable it may be a bigger issue than you think.
