  2. The sheer number of times the "X is an unexpected reading therefore there is a sensor error" happens is just insane. It happens in everything from cars, trains, planes, guided missiles and obviously, spacecraft. How it is allowed to happen as often as it does is beyond me.

  3. It has to be. you can clearly see chainlink fence posts, those are usually 50cm/2 inches thick.

  9. For further info on the subject i can recommend the book Soviet Space Dogs (which is available in English) if you can find a copy, I have one in my library and it's a good read if somewhat sad in places.
