The issue is Florida is razor close and an extra 300,000 votes will have a huge impact state wide so the poll tax was a way of bypassing the will of the people. I think that you could have got Warren over the line. You needed to consolidate on a candidate who would have pulled in some of the moderates and some of the Black vote. For the moderate and centre of the party Bernie is just as much of a problem as Biden is to the left and the sad thing is most would have coalesced round a centre left agenda such as what Warren touted.
