Warren is advocating a mixed economy (capitalism with guard rails) capitalism unchecked will decend into an elite economy for the few (just look at Russia with the oligarchs and a permanent leader) what I struggle with is thier is no acceptance from the right wing that monopolies are bad for capitalism and that they are in effect promoting socialism for the rich controlled by the very rich.

I think Warren is a better long term bet, if the Senate is still Republican then I feel she has better plans on democratic reform, nothing is going to happen till Dark money is drained out of Washington, Healthcare reform which should be the number 1 priority won't happen till outside money and lobbying is taken out of the picture and that applies on the Democrats side as well.

@b1bbscraz3y I've been impressed with her fightback, she really pulled no punches in the after debate interview, these debates are making her stronger and more driven, an all women ticket that would mess with the GOP Heads.

@olearris I wish I had your faith, with the gerrymandering, dark money etc... You'll struggle on the timescales, Bernie is 80 and while vigorous for his age Republicans are extremely thick skinned and the scotus is packed with conservatives. Remember this is effectively nationalising healthcare across the country. It's going to need a carrot and stick approach and a long term plan that can't be undone. Obamcare is hanging by a thread, what needs to come must be proof against ideological vandalism.

@b1bbscraz3y I don't really know Stacey Abrahams is well thought of. I don't think bernie would make a good vp. The women to me in this cycle seem really driven
