They didn't he fell out the box when the left went all in on Bernie and wouldn't countenance any sort of compromise, Warren was floated and the left trashed her because she was willing to compromise then they floated Pete again all the talk about sell out. I think that you could have got Warren over the line. You needed to consolidate on a candidate who would have pulled in some of the moderates and some of the Black vote. For the moderate and centre of the party Bernie is just as much of a problem as Biden is to the left and the sad thing is most would have coalesced round a centre left agenda such as what Warren touted.
