The 600$ is currently propping up the unemployed worker -> who props up local businesses, landlords, the housing market, banks, insurance the list goes on and on The idea you can conjour jobs out of thin air is arghhhhhhh dumb, contraction will happen trying to blow through the pandemic causes a stop start effect which makes it worse and cripples small/medium businesses even further which are by thier nature the growth areas.
