  2.  @BH-fi1sb  its not just Tesla they just happen to be at the forefront, there are multiple trails going on with two way mesh networks where an electric vehicle when connected to the grid is both a receiver and a provider of energy. The grid can smooth out demand by pulling a small amount from thousands of sources and with the software development going as it is the same vehicles can be used as short term batteries for buildings.
