@yorkshiremgtow1773 That is incorrect at the end of the Major Term debt to GDP was 45% during the Blair Brown period it dropped to 40% before reaching 62% saving the Financial system in 2010. Since then the Tories have never balanced the books borrowing 1.6 trillion and sending Debt to GDP up to 100% while adding +8 million to the population.

@yorkshiremgtow1773 Your looking at borrowing as an absolute figure Blair / Brown grew the economy by the largest margin of any administration. Which the Tories have spent 14 years trashing with their ideology of small state & Tax Cuts
