  1. The government failed to collect 42 billion in tax it was owed Like everything else the Tories were responsible for they've run down HMRC instead of boosting it to save money and ended up loosing it

The Tories haven't balanced the books in 14 years in power adding 1.6 trillion to the debt Just to give you an idea of how bad things are here are some numbers 72 billion spent last year on energy subsidies because we're tied to GAS 120 billion on interest payments The Truss event cost pensions 425 billion Councils spent 20 billion on housing support (2 million council houses not replaced) Water companies are on the verge of bankruptcy yet are still paying dividends Etc
