The FT did an economic analysis on it its basically the result of 13 years of Austerity pay cuts and increasing workload Part of that increase is severe staff shortages The Tories being the arseholes that the,y are would rather spend extra billions on supply and agency staff than fund proper wage rises After 13 years of Austerity multiple tax breaks for the rich a failed Brexit millionaire/billionaire wealth doubling over the last 2 years they now want to service that wealth by penny pinching the middle and lower class. Yet people like you come on and defend it tbh I think you and people like you have Stockholm Syndrome
