  8.  @SmartCookie2022  The Blair growth was on the back of education lifting millions into higher paid jobs and turbo charging our switch to a service economy. The added real term salary increases eclipsed the take from removing the tax break on pensions allowing me to save far more and retire early. Not that I don't b1tch and m0an about it like you and also am no fan of Iraq. It wasn't till I retired and started studying economics and comparing the macroeconomic data that you realise how bad the Cons are with the economy. Even the much lauded Thatcher era her low tax came from asset stripping oil money and globalisation which is why the current bunch are falling on their ar3e
