Why the stats show an increse in productivity from home working You know who's moaning and bitching to get people back its the Papers peolple don't buy them to read if they don't commute, its te big property owners who wil see their precious office space empty Also your able to recruit from a wider pool of people because they no longer have to live near the main centre the old way is dead welome to the Tech revolution

@garagenigel More like kitchen tables and spare bedrooms On another note I live in a well off area and loads of people have been building extensions and garden rooms, people in well paid jobs that can remote work are embracing it as the new normal.

The old way is dead a bunch of grumpy old men sat on a sofa opining about the good old bad old days won't change a thing We spent most of lockdown decentralising and moving systems to the cloud and virtual machines there simply is no reason for the vast number of firms to go full office the best your going to get with a lot of them is hybrid. Also the age of decentralised working is here the Tech revolution is in full swing, Tory boys are crying over their empty offices shuttered starbucks aren't going to change a thing. This is a stupid argument anyway there's been a large increase in productivity because of home and hybrid working and the upgraded systems we've put in place and there's a skills shortage. Decentralised working allows firms to recruit from a larger pool of workers not tethered to a location just think of all those young Green / Lib-Dem / Labour voters now moving to rural Con areas and changing the voting demographic no wonder the Tory Boys are getting the sweats.
