@jamesnicholls1054 if you invest in infrastructure both physically and social you need less immigration. Why do we Nurses and thier famalies from Nigeria? Because in 2010 Osborne cut Labour's Bursary system leading to a lot G term decline in nurses being trained. Why do we have 600,000 + dependents? Because of Brexit and loss of FOM the visas are permenant. So yes Labour will reduce migration but it will take time to repair right wing economic damage

@mleh-qx8mo if you run supply side trickle down economics low tax and low regulation you don't train your local workforce because that costs money you use it for tax cuts instead import skilled workers while your domestic unskilled workers do low paid jobs Aka Thatcherism + a points based immigration system

I have to ask why if you want to lower immigration you need to change the economic model and invest in the UK that doesn't include lowering taxes scrapping regulations and turning the countryside into a Shale Gas wastelands

Ipsos had them at 5 they got a 2 point bump to 7% because of the never ending Psychodrama in the Tory party on migration Based on By elections this is pretty generous Not that they have real workable policies so its a bit pointless voting for them
