Comments by "Greg Greg" (@SlowhandGreg) on "Why are the MSM linking Brexit with migration numbers, asks Nana Akua?" video.
What did you actually vote for though brexit meant a million and 1 things to a million and 1 different people?

@stoicsceptic8420 I'm with him its simplistic tripe The Tories won't do anything about migration because at the heart of their Economic policy is something called Supply Side Economics (Thatcherism) it has low taxes at the top and a feature is a need for constant cheap migrant Labour at the bottom. Since the Tories came to power they've been making it as hard as possible for people to afford to get a University education they would rather import that as well and push the current population into the low wage labour pool..

@trevormappley I'm a nothing were out the EU trying to bang the Brexit drum is nothing more than self flagellation and blame avoidance. I'd deal in the hear an now.

Just another slogan sorry that's all your going to get with this lot

Betrayed? there are no benefits to Johnson's Brexit

What by deliberately tanking the economy by not having the skilled workers to expand the GDP and pay taxes for their pensions?

No one wants to do fruit picking jobs the farmers will just stop growing crops if you don't allow for seasonal workers, tons of food rotted in the fields last year this year farmers are scaling back and food prices are rocketing up as we replace UK produce with imports

@Th3_Gael Why pull it down to a personal experience when figures are based on a population 67 million across the whole of the country. Making economic policy on Bert's experience down the road is recipe for disaster. The UK working population has contracted by a large percentage overall go look at the data from the ONS.

Its simplistic rubbish the Tories economic policies need a constant stream of migrant labour to grow the economy if you cut that off because the likes of Osborne / Sunak won't tax the rich and implement progressive taxation you get the squeeze and inflation were currently getting at the bottom and your also looking at a labour market with over 1.2 million vacancies.

Why there refugees and we have a labour shortage to the point where the government are going to start importing workers from Nigeria and India.

@Philiptanzer 300k net was the projected figure from the government to run a stable economy under Conservative Supply Side Economic theory which would grow the GDP enough. So at some stage the Tories will find a way of getting the immigrants in one way or another because if they don't the economy will implode and Labour will get voted in to fix it.
1
They can't the economy needs a steady supply of cheap migrant Labour as the Tories implement something called Supply Side Economics. If they don't have the labour to boost the GDP the economy will implode and spiral into stagflation

Were out the EU what were you expecting?
1
No she doesn't she's part of the elite and will say any old shyte and present complete bollox solutions to get ratings

@trevormappley How do you know she voted for Brexit? What is being presented here is fodder for the gammons to keep the juiced. Refugees and immigration combined with demographics birth rates and structural investment in the economy have a complex interaction. She is supposed to have studied business and finance at University and had a career in TV before morphing into a talking head on GBNews. GBNews funding reveals it to be just another attempt by right-wing millionaires to control public discourse. It has connections with right wing think tank Legatum which pushes Supply Side Economics (low taxes for the rich fk everyone else) set up by billionaire Christopher Chandler

No it isn't the big issue is processing them in a timely manner 80% are given asylum anyway and they just clog up the immigration system for over a year in most cases
1
There refugees and the main issue is the insane amount of time it takes to process them as 80% are given residency, if they were turned round quicker they'd be off the books and employed earning money paying taxes and rent
