@steptay a robust benifts system increases GDP which increases tax take which can be spent on reducing taxes It's not a sunk cost just because you have people abusing it your wanting to cut off your nose to spite your face? Reducing benefits has zero economic benefits at our current level and creates economic damage.

They've a range of people with some on the fringe, the Cons have had 10 dismissed from parliament for various reasons, Peter Bone's lover is the Con representative up for election says it all about the Tories
1
At the macroeconomic level average wages are down -7% since 2010 GDP is static with +11 million population meaning UK productivity has fallen off a cliff.
1
He's an amateur compared to Sunak, +23 tax rises, hs2/3 gone leveling up now punching down and an economy that has average wages -7% lower than 2010
1
Sunaks Conservative party are spending money like drunken sailors they've already been warned by the IMF, were 100% debt to gdp borrowed 130 billion last year and no prospect of any improvement
1
It's 5% of the population get real
1
@jeremyhards1911 you find it funny your so easily manipulated by the media?
1
@jeremyhards1911 gbnews is owned by offshore billionaire interests with connections to the Legatum institute a Libertarian think tank in the same orbit as the heritage foundation. They push climate denial and other policthat help the global corporate elite They use wedge issues to piggy back ontop of thier economic agenda of low to no tax for the elite and corporations and no regulatory implications so they can polute as they please and no Unions driving up workers wages and benifits. So a 5% Muslim population against a backdrop of insatiable corporate media capture and greed I know what is more concerning to me
1
@jeremyhards1911 GBN is owned by an offshore billionaire with connections to the Libertarian think tank Legatum which is associated with the Heritage Foundation. These are the Elites of the world that don't want to pay tax and wish to pollute as they please.

@EagleBill1 don't delude yourself Reform are Tory + a bit more deluded
1
And your going to what support the Tories? We're in recession, inflation is 4%+ average wages are -7% down from 2010 and portacabins are back in schools taking us back to the Thatcher years
1
@BonusHole new labour had average growth of 2.5% andwage growth of 20+% Brown's green shoots of recovery were strangled at birth by Osborne's Austerity
1
@lady12roses why would anyone consider another Thatcherite economic leaning party after 14 years of it producing stagnation? High legal migration is the result of not investing in your own population, high rents not investing in housing, clogged roads not investing in transport etc
1
Sunak makes him look like a giant in comparison just count up his Uturns on everything from tax to leveling up
1
Why they will invest in services
1
You don't think Sunak's +23 tax rises aren't a bit of pot kettle and black+
1
@oldshiny3012 the state of the economy just keeps deteriorating, Sunak & Co keep spending money they don't have on trickle down cr@p Ex 4 billion on millionaire pensioner tax break 8 billion bankers levy reduction +6 billion further fossil subsidises
1
@pip1723 hundreds - +23 tax increases alone under Sunak
1
Labour will win by a landslide Why The economy is a total mess, Sunak and Co are spending billions they dont have on all sorts of trickle down cr@p that doesnt work making the problem worse month on month. We are in reccesion with high inflation, high interest rates contracting public services and still borrowed 130 billion last year with gdp to debt at 100%
1
And the Tories won't get rid of the Islamophobia + the more fachy wing
1
No there not Sunak has an even worse uturn record + 23 tax rises for a start
1
Why what's wrong with working services and real pay rises, were -7% worse off than in 2010 on average
1
Not as many as Sunak but why waste your vote on Tory + delusional imigration policy?
