@dangerousfables last budget 2 billion on Millionaire pensioner tax cut, 8 billion in bankers tax giveaway, 6 billion in additional subsidies to the fossil fuel industry. There's loads more but these were the headliners and the big bucks.

@aaronaaronson7600 not quite true that was the projected economic hit estimates last I saw where 5.5% but the bleed out from Brexit started in 2016 when long term investment was put on hold by major companies in the UK, given that planning is in the 5-7 year mark where feeling the slow disintegration of major companies not investing. By the way 1% of gdp = 8 billion to the treasury per annum shortfall is 44 billion not counting lost growth and investment were fkd basically

@dangerousfables and how much of that 160 billion budget is being siphoned off to the private sector? Last I heard around 5% of the current budget is used in administration costs liaising patients across the public private sector, the total admin bill is 14% which is way too high partly due to privatisation and outsourcing. 3 billion in agency staff 6 billion on bank staff to cover shortfalls as pay fails to keep up.
