  6. @MinkieWinkle  it's about manufacturing you buy what the manufacturer wants there is very little choice cars of any stripe need a run of millions for economies of scale The thing about a renewable grid / economy is its way cheaper than what we have just the current players are happy with the status quo Wind Solar up front cost virtually free running costs v gas low up front cost & constant energy running costs
