@awwasson Inflation is a product of the 750 billion the Tories spaffed during Covid its trickled up to the Millionaire Billionaire class who doubled their wealth during Covid but were now being asked to pay for it with Fiscal drag. Here's a maths question for you If I build a swimming pool and increase my electricity consumption by £9,000 how many people have to sit in the cold to equal the supply demand curve. The Bank of England can put up interest rates till the cows come home it will have ZERO affect on the Sunak's of this world who really don't care what the borrowing rate is or how much a product costs thus not mitigating their consumption.
