@jacquib256 The reason the crossings have gone up is because we no longer cooperate with France much on this and treat it as a single issue problem. The solution to this is opening legal routes to apply accepting you have to take some and that the quest for zero makes it worse not better. Also put some serious effort into a Europe wide force to tackle the people smuggling, introduce ID cards and clean up our black economy and modern slavery. Shouting at dingy people is pathetic and solves nothing

Leaving the EU means we no longer cooperate with our partners and allies to solve common problems which is why this has ballooned and Loosing FOM has tripled legal migration
