  2. No we won't taxes are going up overall The NI cut helps 30-60k crowd who are likely working in the south east and are getting hammered by mortgage and rent increases. It's a budget that perpetuates the economic doom spiral the Tories have created

It's to do with borrowing, you need the rate to be attractive enough to sell Gilts we borrowed 130 billion last year total debt is around 2.6 trillion and interest payments are currently 120 billion. The Conservatives have really screwed up the economy everyone in the City knows there will be near zero growth

  6. ​@1violalass fiscal drag I'm paying +550 The effect of inflation and freezing tax and NI thresholds so everyone bar the 30-60k working bracket are getting a tax increase. + there reducing government support for councils and jacking up council tax
