ULEZ isn't a green policy it's public health The biggest concern with it is public transport if you want better air quality you need less cars period

The key to cheaper energy and revitalising the economy is a renewable economic strategy British gas screwed us for +800 million in excess profit while Sunak just stood there and did fk all

@keithparker1346 there's limited scope for borrowing from what I can gather there's private money for the green tech renewables which if Labour don't tap will go to the US or EU The main issue holding up new renewable projects will be the grid I'm presuming they'll reintroduce insulation standards and grants you can get household usage of solar panels up. I looked at heat pump last year there not really suitable for older properties you need to upgrade to 3 phase supply in most cases

@keithparker1346 by printing more money you increase supply which effects inflation, the problem we have is structural our economy can't grow because we have supply side shortages of Energy Food Housing Labour And a tax and government policy system which is acting as a firehouse at squirting the money we do have and are printing up to corporations and the wealthy The British gas excess profits of 800 million are a stark example and we have another 12 months of this at least the 1st thing that needs doing is turning the firehouse off I'm not against borrowing but currently it's only making things worse you need some long term solutions to the above including major tax reform
