the Tories have been making mistakes for 13 years and plow on would be nice if they learned some lessons for a change instead of blaming everyone and anyone else

ULEZ isn't deeply unpopular and 90% of vehicles are compliant + it was a conservative idea and Shapps forced the accelerated timetable by tying it to government transport grants

how about inform people that it doesn't affect them its like only 10% of vehicles that don't comply and their mostly diesel

@Manchesterkoi Can't have been working very hard if they've got a pre 2014 diesel still on the road. Aside from that I'd agree the timing is poor but that was forced on Khan by Grant Shapps tying transport funding to ULEZ expansion and ULEZ is also a Conservative policy brought in by Johnson. If it is trades people that will be mostly hit an answer is a better scrappage scheme for those that physically live in the area

Grant Shapps forced the accelerated expansion by tying it to transport grants and it was originally dreamed up under Bojo + the Conservative mayor in Birmingham is going ahead with it You should know by now if a Conservative tells you something I'd check the receipts

@TheCeiteach I've an Ebike and when I was poor I didn't have a car. What we need is well funded public. I'd also add a different model for car usage especially in cities everyone having a personal car all the time is wasteful. If you think the Tories give a toss about poor people your mistaken all they think there good for is screwing as much money as they can out of them.
