@A-W1669 That's dumb as a member we had a veto on any laws we didn't like and openly cooperated to agree the current state aid rules which were put forward by David Cameron. As a non member we have to follow the EU laws and rules if we wish to trade with them but don't have a veto on future levelling up. Our fishing fleet doesn't fish UK waters predominantly but up to Iceland and off Norway with some down the French Spanish coast, our UK water catch is sold mostly in France. Leaving the customs union was one of the most mind numbingly stupidest things the UK has ever done.

@A-W1669 Its a totally dumb argument were fishing in Norway France Spanish and Irish waters. We eat cod and haddock mostly. Its a manufactured for politics argument to gin people up like you into flag waving. Its dumber than dumb and Boris is either horrendously stupid or doing it deliberately to grandstand to the cheap seats. Without a deal British fishing will collapse end of whats even more stupid is this could have been used to re imagine fishing policy across the EU for conservation. What do we get instead brain dead tub thumping by Boris

@johnbrooks3832 Us being used as a staging post to get round EU trade deals with other nations and as a back door into the market was the big Boris plan unfortunately this has been a non no from day one the longer this went on the worse its got for the UK to the point where if we get a deal were screwed if we don't get a deal were doubly screwed with a cherry on top.

We want access to their market, Boris and Co either don't understand how Trade and the EU Works or don't care because of some horeshit imperial numb nuts idea that the world owes us a trade deal because once up a time we had an empire (based I would add on gunboat diplomacy and conquest)
