  1. No it's not we have effectively put sanctions on ourselves with Brexit we have extensive trade barriers and removed the ability to recruit from a huge pool of workers. Trade out to the EU is down 15% while food imports are up 10% we have less people in the workforce than in 2019 and are the only economy in the G7 to be in the red on 2019 figures. This is also a slow burn that the current problems with the war in ukraine has turned from a smouldering fire into a raging inferno back in 2016 our GDP was 90% of Germany its now 70% and still shrinking.
