@eagle3676 yea Bernie said it and should have just owned it, the sheepish way he went about it, loads of people have said old white men are more electable than women, Bernie is a pretty straight shooter in general but didn't want to engage on the topic. I think female candidates have a right to go full nuclear on the topic it's demeaning, condescending and wrong and you'll generally get that it's always the woman who is lying or spinning it which just makes it worse. I don't think any worse of Bernie for it and Warren found someone to really vent her frustration on the topic, we also got PowerPoint Pete and post it note Amy, unlike the media I thought it was a debate that needed to happen made the previous ones pretty tame.

@eagle3676 If Bernie was a poker player he'd be cleaned out in seconds, he reacted and didn't want to talk about it. It doesn't change what he stands for or his attitudes in general. Stop defending him for the sake of it! and its not defending Bernie that winds me up its people slagging off Warren and coming up with 100 reasons why he couldn't possibly have said it. Watch the encounter watch the sidebar reaction, he said what he said coz he didn't want to talk about the subject.
