There's a good video going around someone has analysed the logistics involved in detail put simply Russia doesn't have enough supply trucks for the size of army there trying to deploy, they may well be setting up way points but the longer the supply line the more they have to guard. They need a forward airbase that's not going to be hit with a Ukraine counter or a special forces team and its not like there being treated like liberators there managed to unite 90% of the country behind them

  2.  @u2beuser714  you can verify most stuff through open source a model based on the collective development of software, thousands of videos checked for authenticity etc. Most western news outlets tend to have a political spin rather than make stuff up they conveniently leave stuff out as well sometimes

  3.  @justinblake420  there's a problem with that narrative they simply don't have enough soldiers to occupy what they've taken of the 200k troops only about 80k are infantry you need to garrison every town its an area the size of France with 44 million population

  4.  @justinblake420  so why are they killing people and wrecking the infrastructure? Once you take a town or city you have to garrison it because the local malitia and soldiers hide their guns and melt into the population of 44 million without sufficient troops at each point and even with supply lines get attacked patrols are blown up etc. And the bulk of Putins goons are conscripted there not defending their Country and they could get shot by any passing civilian

  7. Temperature are due to go down to -20 at the weekend in Ukraine also reports of rations 7 years out of date they'll be chewing through diesel just to keep warm, how will this affect the Russian forces?
