  1. He's playing the propaganda war it boosts moral on the Ukrainian side and puts doubt into an enemy who thought they were just going to roll in and take over. 2/3rds soldiers are non combatants support they do basic training then go to be drivers cooks mechanics etc

He's laying the propaganda war maybe some soldiers will see this maybe not Putin will though and remember 2/3 rds of the 200k troops are support staff, drivers mechanics cooks etc. not infantry and of the infantry that they do have only a small % are battle hardened. They've also been told their liberating their countrymen and have gotten a bit of a shock

He's really hell bent on poking Putin's buttons, Vlad lost the propaganda war before it started Zalensky has ensured permanent insurrection if he tries and occupies and any Putin Puppet would be seen as a traitor. His lay down your arms to Russian soldiers is aimed at the non combatants in the resupply convoys that will be coming under fire not sure how anyone can see how this ends
