Its more complicated than that, weve had record low inflation since the banking crash and Trump inherited a strong base but by pushing massive corporate tax cuts he artificially boosted the stock prices. Its estimated that the Fortune 500 companies spent a total of 3 trillion on stock buy backs. At the same time the Fed was doing QE the tax cuts were paid for with debt. During the pandemic trump added another 5 trillion to debt a lot of it neccassary support but combined with the tax cuts this was very inflationary In terms of how well Joe has done you need to compare what a Typical Republican would have done in a similar position they would have tightened government spending creating long term unemployment to drive down inflation It's the difference of +14 million jobs v 3 or 4 ​@robertdwyer5486

Infrastructure investment plus other stuff has been driving the GDP up its averaged 3.6% which in turn lowers inflation by expanding the economy to the larger money supply.
