  1. Its just a temporary problem? No it isn't Brexit was hauled over the line by Racism and Xenophobia and is one of the core tenants of this extreme right wing government. Lets stop trying to normalise what a complete bunch of xenophobic liers are now in power. Between 1.5 and 2 million people left the UK due to Brexit over the last few years, as well as low paid seasonal workers we've also had a Brain Drain as companies have relocated part or all of certain operations into Europe. Just push through more tests? According to this guy the average age of the UK HGV driver is 57 at what point are you going to be able to even recruit test and train enough to replace the thousands that are leaving the industry monthly due to retirement and ill health? Replace with GB workers? The current rate of deaths in GB is now higher than the current rate of births we now have both an aging and a shrinking population, more people retired less people available to pay Tax. This isn't going to end well and this appears to be the tip of the storm 8 months in with suppressed demand due to the pandemic.
