@margaretfarrell5137 Blaire was a centerist new labour was in response to Thatcherism the whole of the Labour Party are a lot further left than Blaire's new Labour Starmer and people like Reeve, Nandy are Centre left and appear pretty pragmatic the Left wing of the party keep getting thrown out of the shadow cabinet for having the discipline of a two year old they have a lot to contribute but they need to move on from Corbyn stop trying to push 1001 policies all at the same time.

@oneoflokis true I was surprised at the shift to younger educated urban voters but on reflection its down to the raising the educational threshold and getting more people university educated. And the destruction of workers networks through WMC and loss of Unions.

Starmer will be the next PM the question is by how much or with supply agreements. Reasons the economy is tanking and will continue to get worse were a long way off the bottom

@oneoflokis the Corbyn vote of 2017 was pretty much an outlier due to a whole host of reasons, although Labour increased their vote in other demographics they were bleeding working class votes.
