@neilbradley100 The bulk of the Conservative vote is centre right middle class one nation, a lot of people in my blue wall constituency vote green for local elections

@JohnnyRingo-c5v if you want lower migration you can't have lower taxes the 2 are mutually exclusive. To lower migration you need to pay public sector workers appropriate wages to attract more of the domestic workforce and invest more in training infrastructure and the NHS

@1anhunter1 Labour will be socially centrist and economically centre left. The overriding problem you had was the lack of the centre right standing up to the hard right. My own MP was One Nation with the spine of a jellyfish. Our current economic plight needs interventionism it has done for 14 years which is why the economy has remained stagnant and has shrunk in real terms over the last 2 years and that means abandoning the economic tenants of Thatcherism.

@JohnnyRingo-c5v split left right is currently 58-36% in 2019 Left still had >50% and that was with Corbyn Brexit and Boris against them

@JohnnyRingo-c5v 58% are breaking centre left, 35% are breaking right. Even with Corbyn in charge the left vote was >50% if you add up all the parties on the left

@sadjaxx The PO is the result of a culture of outsourcing. When you outsource you loose control and over time the service levels degrade, for services this makes no economic sense but is a tenant of Thatcherism
