@buddha1736 The Cons have made that impossible by forcing a hard Brexit if you had the equivalent of the Irish Protocol or we were still in the single market it would be possible but now there shafted like everyone else.

@JohnDoe-hm2zz Vote leave promised access to the single market Daniel Hannan and Nigel Farage both said we would be crazy to leave the single market and there not wrong. Thee rhetoric before the vote was of a Norway style deal. The Brextremists now want Singapore on Thames which is a complete fantasy based on the heady days of the British empire when we could force trade via gunboat diplomacy. Also the EU put plans in place in 2016 to decouple the City as much as possible from the single market. We are now stuck in limbo where farmers fisherman and manufacturing are getting crushed the City has had trillions in business yanked from it with no feasible plan to move forward bar endless worthless policy initiatives that don't have any money in them.
