The reason the Tories are so bad is the candidates they stood at the last election A lot were ex UKIP everyone had to worship Brexit Jesus but the UKIP bunch are populists wanting spending and the free market bunch want no spending Anyone just looking at it from an economic point of view could have told you it would be a complete train wreck, so far since 2016 its lot the economy around 1 trillion, long term investment ie 3-5 year plans all started getting stalled post 2016, the £ dropped by 30% and the latest forecast is an overall 6% hit to GDP
