@navigator100group2 Thatcherism aka Supply Side Economics is one of the main reason the economy is spiralling down the toilet the other is Brexit You can't run a supply side policy without loads of cheap labour coming in at the bottom and you can't have the xenophobic English Nationalist brexit without doubling down on migration. The 2 are completely incompatible which is why personal taxation is going up at the bottom to maintain low taxes at the top And anyway the roots of the energy crisis we have now are in Thatchers utility giveaway and the housing crisis roots are in Thatcher council house giveaway the reason he's had to do something is the chronic economic fallout of Thatcherite policies driving millions into in work poverty. Unlike the Thatcher era Sunak can't force inflation down with high unemployment.

@jurgensplurgen8972 a million and 1 flavours of Brexit both Hannan and Farage campaigned on leaving the EU but staying in the single market. Frostie the no man produced a politically expedient deal that they rammed through to force the uk out then want to still claim everything is the EU fault
