I've installed underfloor heating last year used pre-routed flooring boards Tor Floor on a suspended double insulated floor rather than screed, the advantage of pre-routed boards was speed of installation so less money spent on Labour. I did 90 square meters of ground floor quite a bit of ancillary Labour myself and we ended up with a Gas boiler but the system is Air Source ready. Cost was £25,000 to give people some idea which is not a lot different to a standard radiator system

  2. My sub floor in the existing house was already suspended before I had an extension built. My point was the speed and cost of installation V Screed (Concrete over layer) which we have over here for underfloor heating. Underfloor heating of any stripe is marvelous I love it  @ohrosberg
