Its a good comparison in my view how do you run a country without lockdown Density of population - we saw in northern Italy and NY what happens when Covid gets into a heavily densely populated area. Medical resources - at no time was Sweden's resources stretched beyond capacity the Tories have run the NHS down to the bone. In the UK it decimated the nursing home population. You have low resources and dense population and the deaths per cases sky rocket with the ugly spectacle of refrigeration vans for the dead bodies and doctors basically having to refuse care and pick winners and losers.
