  5.  @J.C.1960  so how come 54% aren't owned by families? at 3 million your arguing for rich people not to pay tax and you subsidise them. Even then > 3 million only attracts 20% tax payable over 10 years and It will depress land prices because it's no longer a loophole for the rich allowing more genuine farmers. Your problem is we have a huge generational wealth gap from multiple tax breaks like this which means at the other end taxes have been steadily rising to compensate
