I see JHB is still trying to justify the shtshw that is Brexit The only reason Brexit happened was to fend off the far right in UKIP and keep the Tories in power the only reason we had Johnson's deal was he wanted to be PM and replace May and it didn't matter what damage his deal did it was all politics. Its been a political game by the Tories from the start hence No Plan in 2016 No Plan in 2023 hence a bunch of trade deals amounting to 0.0% gdp to replace the hundreds of billions lost in trading with the EU Double the number of refugees pre Brexit +6% food inflation over EU countries -10% drop in home food production Real GDP Growth from 2010 to 2022 is 0% (Real GDP takes account of inflation) Real Net disposable income has fallen from 6,127 in 2010 to 6,053 in 2020 and the OBR forecast is another -6% on top of 2021/22 figures taking us to 2024 Tax base will rise from 33% in 2021 (Same as 2010) to a staggering 38% by 2027 under current government plans (Tax base is a % of tax to GDP) Debt is still going up and was 99% debt to GDP last time I looked (62% in 2010) (40% in 2006) JHB is an idiot if you listen to any of her drivel and believe it then you have truly been Gammonised
