z Rabinovich calls Odessa: "Aaron, what's going on there?" "Russia is at war with NATO here." "Any losses?" "Yeah, Russia has lost a war cruiser, hundreds of planes and helicopters, over a thousand tanks, a pile of weapons, about twenty-five thousand soldiers ..." "And NATO?" "NATO has not yet arrived.

If they want a better standard of living why do they vote Conservative? Cameron / May now Johnson national average wage has increased by -3% a feat not achieved since the Napoleonic war and we are in our second decade of stagnation under the Conservatives The highest tax burden since the war (and Rhishi gave the bankers a 5% tax cut worth billions) The worst trade deal in British history (City AM QUOTE "One in three UK business owners fear their company won’t exist anymore in a year as Brexit onslaught intensifies")
49
Instead of a NI hike they could have removed the payment ceiling which would have raised more money He could abandon the 2 billion tax cut to the Bankers He could slap a windfall tax on the fossil companies He could have kept his parties promise on the triple lock Did he do any of these did he fk
48
Nearly everyone that's been in the news this last couple of weeks has had a pay freeze over the pandemic Your also seeing inflation busting executive pay and bonuses because over 50% of the inflation can be attributed to massive increases in corporate profits
46
Why doesn't he blame the EU and the asylum seekers in Calais while he's at it.
41
Markets and polls expecting a Labour win for months and Kier is just lucky Things will improve though because the Tory chaos has stopped and we're looking a good stable investment with all the political turmoil in France / Germany
36
we shall fight them on the beaches and in the ITV studios He flew back to lie about lying in the TV debate - sums him and his party up really My dad was a paratrooper in the war Tuesday left me angry because all he did was gaslight and deliberately mislead the public in Johnsonian fashion but this just left me feeling hollow
34
I thought the party that has had an 80 seat majority and done fk all with it bar raising tax to record levels had a super majority
30
Cutting tax doesnt boost growth We have 50 years of data showing that the bulk of these cuts drives inequality people at the bottom get screwed especially on low income Currently since 2010 average wages are -6.1% complete economic stagnation with reduced incomes how have the millionaire class fared ? In 2022, total millionaire wealth stood at $208.3 trillion, accounting for 45.8% of global wealth. That represents a 138% increase from 2011, when millionaires held $87.5 trillion in wealth
25
Days into the Sunak premiership and where back to square 1 defending the indefensible that didn't take long
22
What did she get wrong? A bigger bunch of liars that currently sit in the cabinet you'd be hard pressed to find including the chief BS merchant in charge
21
This is the week it emerged that the Cabinet were lobbying for City pay caps to be removed and the Chairman of Birmingham Airport had a 48% salary rise Boris's broken Britain World beating Stagflation
20
@davidyare8465 that's good coz it will stop the brain drain due to low pay
19
meanwhile were loosing millions in lost duty
19
Everything Johnson touches turns to sht Did he not tell the north that he's taken the word UP out of the promise
18
@PAUL-wv6vu 2010 GDP to debt was 62% due to the Cameron Tax cuts 2019 GDP to debt was 82%, so don't talk to me about borrowing at least labour spent it on something other than lining the pockets of their rich mates 2022 GDP to debt 100%+ CAN WE AFFORD THE TORIES?
18
its 450 kilometers and there's an air defence ring around moscow and like he says why waste the ammo there are more imprtant targets than flying into air defense central
17
He wasn't speaking to parliament or trying to win a debate he was speaking to the people in those constituencies Whatever wide boy Sunak responds with is now irrelevant because people just won't believe him food inflation is still 15%
16
@andro396 The EU and US will impose sanctions if we screw up the peace process, a de facto border will have to go round NI if this isn't re-implemented going against the peace process Like everyone says the DUP are insane
16
The defeat was down to spending 14 years driving our economy into the toilet, Austerity, Brexit, tax increases, more Austerity, 50 years of privatisation hitting the fan The Tories are done Rest In Pieces
16
voted tactically all my life there's nothing worse or the country and my and my families finances than a TORY government
16
Whatever he'd still be a 100 times better than any Tory
16
@JamesMullarneyIsAFraud in what way? Blair / Brown +25% rise in average wages Cameron / May / Johnson -8% decrease in average wages Thatcherism screws over workers discuss
15
why are they clapping this complete failure of a human being?
15
Gets off for lying last week comes out and lies about the protocol this week and he's done it in Parliament as well
15
Choice 1 Regulatory alignment no border Choice 2 Non alignment hard border if Choice 2 Border down the Irish sea or hard Border in NI (Not happening due to Good Friday agreement) There is no choice 3 or maybe a tech solution or maybe we didn't know what we were signing, while I think Jonson's cabinet are a talentless even they can work out the above. For whatever reason Johnson wanted a no deal.
15
Sunak locked thresholds till 2028 I'm around 560 worse off with fiscal drag giving me 95 back is taking the p1ss
14
Zehawai- tax dodging Sunak - wife's used non dom status to avoid tax Javid - used non dom status to avoid tax Last 3 Chancellor's Is it now a required badge to serve in the second highest office in government? What's Jermy Hunt done? That didn't age well just looked him up and in 2019 he was reminded of dodgy stuff Quote Reporters reminded him of the time he broke company laws aimed at preventing money laundering and tax evasion.
14
Curing a problem they created in the 1st place Bit like rewarding an Arsonist who puts out a fire he started
13
Couple of years back we started a major refurbishment and extension to our 1935 property and I had quite a Net Zero journey with it the additional cost for these over standard building was around 10-15% Solar Thermal tied to a large new type hot water tank provides 75% of hot water of your energy bill about 20% is spent on water heating. Double insulation using a product called SuperQuilt and all the floors had insulation + Floorquilt heating went off in April didn't come back on till end of November Underfloor heating runs at low temperatures uses around 40% less energy than a radiator system would especially given the main extension has a vaulted ceiling Replacement windows all with the latest glass technology All the stuff I've listed should be in new builds the Regs are still C+ standard

This was from Simon Case the same person that blocked her promotion because of the partygate report The story of Gray’s appointment began with Sunak’s reshuffle in February, where Kemi Badenoch increased her international trade portfolio to include business. As a result, she requested Gray to be her department’s Permanent Secretary. This role is the most senior civil servant of a given department or ministry. However, according to the Daily Express, it appears Cabinet Secretary Simon Case vetoed Gray’s candidacy on a technicality because she was “not of the right grade to be promoted to permanent secretary”. The impact of this was devastating for Gray.

@gsuzuki6138 'When a clown moves into a palace, he doesn't become a king. The palace becomes a circus.'
13
Such as the UK chancellor using tax loopholes to benefit his families finances? Or setting favourable tax policies that protect unearned income from increases?
13
the Tories have abandoned any meaningful renewable strategy. For the record there's around a 100 billion in fossil subsidies in various budgets. Renewables are 2.5 times cheaper than its nearest rival nuclear The UK energy sector will make 170 billion in excess UNTAXED profits over 2 years And The Tories are getting donations from the fossil companies
12
Rhishi froze them till 2028 then burnt 20 billion in an unfunded NI cut. Labour are backed into a corner on not raising employees NI and tax
12
80% on benefit are working poor, the numbers of those not working at all are really small (50,000) we have a system where people on benefit are trapped on minimum wage unable to get out of the poverty trap. What is currently being done in your name is the spread of a low wage economy trapping people into economic slavery working but barely able to survive.
12
@indianrider9099 the media is owned by the billionaire class there not going to promote labour get of your lazy backside and find out what labour proposals are instead of carping
12
Because there not allowed to spread lies and conspiracy theories dressed up as news
12
Where also processing less than 20,000 cases per year and numbers in the system went from 10,000 in 2010 to 80,000 in 2022 with 80% granted asylum there not allowed to work till their cases are resolved creating a huge fiscal drag for political reasons. Rwanda is just Kabuki theatre and a complete waste of money
12
They downed 2 Russian special forces troop planes yesterday killing 400 soldiers total the losses are mounting attack / defend stats tend to favour the defender, when clearing a city even more so. Remember Kiev is the size of Chicago if the defenders won't surrender then it could drag on the only way then is for artillery to level it.
12
we won't need one at this rate there dropping like rancid flies
11
Boris is highlighting the complete inability of Tories to run an economy this goes back to 2010 and is the culmination of 12 years of bad economic policies.
11
RMT workers average 30k there are multiple executives across the rail industry earning over 1 million all subsidised by the tax payer
10
@dsutherlarach Why is the government subsidising million pound salaries and bonuses without batting an eyelid but when lower paid workers want a raise its all there not worthy times are tough we need to tighten our belts. Maybe a review of executive pay and a hefty % reduction till the top people only earn 20x the bottom
10
Im a pensioner on low income due to fiscal drag my effctive tax rate has gone from 20% to 33% He's talking complete BS
10
Yea well he's pushing his luck stealing nuclear secrets then waving them at Rando guests behaving like an 11 year old
10
everyone needs processing so what's your point we keep this facade of pretending we can ship them off somewhere while burning through 8 billion a year on soapbox rhetoric?
10
he doesn't but at least he has a degree in economics and there will be an economy left in 2 years
10
The SNP wanted a vote on a ceasefire they got one and it was passed unanimously why isn't he happy?
10
@markohenry5891 debt to gdp was 62% in 2010 after 9 years of Austerity and Cameron's corporate tax giveaways it was 92% with near zero growth and an average fall in real average wages of 3% The worst decade economically since the Napolionic wars
