Osborne corporate tax cut cost 200 billion to the Exchequer increased economic activity by 0.5% GDP returning 40 billion which is par for the course tax cuts in general have an economic multiplier of around 0.2 Analysis showed that corporations used the money to buy back shares and increase CEO salaries on the back of it.
